By the company “Les Ames Nocturnes”

Trained with Marcel Marceau and after 7 years managing other artists (opera singers, circus artists of international renown …), Roussat and Lubek return, responsible for these meetings, the simplicity of their dual relationship and their own skills: burlesque play, body theater, music, manipulation of objects, work of illusion …

For “Au bonheur des vivants”, they are inspired by both Gaston Lagaffe and Magritte, the Addams family than Murnau, Marcel Aymé or Fritz Lang.

A writing with the sincerity of the clown and the grace of the mime, a fairy-tale visual and fairy tale, dotted as our daily life, insignificant obstacles and moments of grace that tells the enchantment of the living. The twirling and unpredictable clowns of Cécile Roussat and Julien Lubek reappear in a delirious and magical delirium.

At the crossroads of burlesque, illusion and circus, this unclassifiable duo is reminiscent of both Lagaffe and Buster Keaton.
